My Macbook will be arriving in 1-2 business days

Which means either tomorrow (Friday) or freakin’ heck Monday. Considering I functionally don’t have a laptop, this is pissing off. Why can’t they work on Saturday? If I offer to go up to Yio Chu Kang and collect the damn thing myself, will they allow me?

Also, I received a check (which would go towards debt-repayment, *sigh* – so much for stimulating the local economy). But I couldn’t bank it in before 4pm today, which means it would drop by my account on Monday. What is wrong with these people? Can’t they take a leaf off SMU students and work weekends?
